Unlock All Factions Empire Total War By cirnocaco1976 Follow Public I have RTW Gold Edition and I'm trying to unlock all the factions, moving them to the 'playable' list but I have a mac with Mountain Lion, and it doesn't allow you to change the file from read-only. I think you answered your own question of why minor factions aren't even playable. Given this game's development phase and how much time they had to work on it, Creative Assembly believed that it was nearly possible to add detailed rosters for each and every single minor faction within this game along with the major factions.
