Consider that the Exige V6 Cup is already an optimised lightweight sportscar, adding the R suffix takes the V6 Cup R to authentic competition standard. While lightness remains a perpetual Lotus pillar, the Cup R variant is another 60kgs lighter. Removing the passenger seat and much of the road trim makes it even more track-focused, while its aerodynamics package and driver‘s race seat underline its real purpose.
